There's a noticeable disconnect between the level of training law enforcement receives for active threat situations and the preparedness of the general public. While law enforcement is trained to respond quickly and tactically under pressure, civilians often receive little to no guidance on how to react during these critical moments. Bridging this gap through public education, awareness programs, and practical training—like "Stop the Bleed" and active threat response guidance—can make a meaningful difference in saving lives.

I’ve had the privilege of serving as a police officer and detective in Ohio since 2017. In addition to my primary role, I also serve as the Team Leader of a multi-jurisdictional Special Response Team, where I’m responsible for coordinating and executing tactical operations alongside a dedicated group of law enforcement professionals.

Over the course of my career, I’ve been fortunate to receive extensive training in various areas of law enforcement, which has helped me grow both personally and professionally.
